hello..
Welcome to Crossing Borders, which was ignited by a creative spark in 2008. The idea was to bring a myriad of creative talent together as one from the Scottish Borders and north Northumberland. Although the organisation is only in its infancy, it is now represented by an eclectic mix of artists from not only two regions but two countries.
The majority of craftspeople in these areas tend to work in isolation so Crossing Borders brings these artists together as one voice shouting out loud for creative talent in the area - from painters and printmakers, ceramic and glass artists, sculptors, photographers and woodworkers to artists working creatively in textiles, jewellery, metal and leather work and the rapidly changing field of multimedia.
The Crossing Borders website highlights members showing examples of their work and also features the galleries and associates who lend their support. If you are interested in becoming a member of this dynamic and productive organisation you can read more about the benefits of joining in our information section.
