To celebrate our 10th anniversary, Crossing Borders members are hosting an exciting multi media exhibition over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August.

The venue is Unit Four: The Cornucopia Room in Hawick, an inspiring flexible events space used for exhibitions, film screenings, talks, book launches, music and performance. See https://www.facebook.com/U4Cornucopia/ for further information on the venue.

This is a selling exhibition featuring finely crafted work from jewellers, textile artists, woodworkers, photographers, fine artists; something for everyone.  And even if you are not in the market for art, the exhibition is open to all and we would welcome any visitors.

Pop-Up Art Trail
Swinton, Swinton, Duns

A great opportunity to see textiles being created.  You will see Janis transform yarn into gorgeous woven fabrics on her antique Swedish loom.  Using the wet-felting process, Laura Brittain will be demonstrating how wool is transformed into wonderful textiles.

These fabrics are crafted into scarves, cushions, purses, framed art work, booties and many more beautiful textiles.  Card payments are taken.  There is gravel approaching the studio and two small steps so access may be difficult for the less able, please get in touch if you have specific needs.
