The Flat Cat Gallery is situated in the heart of the pretty Scottish Borders town of Lauder on the A68, one of the main routes connecting Southern Scotland with the North of England. Established in 1998, the gallery offers exhibitions of contemporary art, ceramics, sculptures, jewellery and a wide selection of books. The workshop of Tim Stead furniture also enhances the gallery with selected pieces. Artists from around the Borders and other parts of Scotland and the North of England exhibit frequently. The popular coffee shop offers tasty soup,filling baguettes, excellent refreshments and wicked cakes.
