Scottish Borders Cultural Forum | November Gathering

Inclusion | Hosted by Two Destination Language

Date and time: Monday 25 November 2019 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Venue: A Heart for Duns, Volunteer Hall, Langtongate, Duns TD11 3AF

Join Kat and Alister from Two Destination Language for an evening of discussion around inclusion. Two Destination Language are based in Duns, and make theatre for and with diverse groups from around the UK and they often tour internationally. Who gets to make and experience work is often related to funders responding to political priorities.  At this meeting, we’ll think about the Borders: who’s here, who is part of the cultural ecology, and who’s missing.

Further speakers to be confirmed.

Who is the Cultural Forum for? Anyone with an interest in culture, heritage and the arts, whether you are a maker, supporter, producer or just generally enthusiastic about culture. The forum is an informal event – a chance to network, find out about projects and initiatives, and focus on different themes. It is also an opportunity to share information about your work, events and projects you are involved with.

As this is the last Forum of the year, we will also talk about how the Forums will happen in 2020.

To reserve your place, please book via eventbrite or call 01750 726400 no later than 11am on Monday 25 November 2019.
